Dr. Michael Dageenakis

Photo of Dr. Michael DageenakisDr. Michael Dageenakis attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with undergraduate degrees in molecular biology and Germanic studies. After working several years in the biotechnology industry, he attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with distinction.

While in dental school, Dr. Dageenakis was awarded a Navy Health Professions Scholarship. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and received the Dean’s Golden award, as well as awards from the American College of Prosthodontists and the Organization of Teachers of Oral Diagnosis.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Dageenakis was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corp, and began a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Naval Hospital Great Lakes. Following his residency, he was transferred to the USS CAMDEN(AOE-2), based at Naval Station Kitsap, where he was the Dental Department Head.

Dr. Dageenakis realized that the combination of mountains and ocean here in beautiful Washington simply couldn’t be beat, and decided to settle down in Port Orchard.

Dr. Michael Dageenakis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kitsap County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys kayaking, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
